The standard engine is a 180 horsepower 2.4-liter 4-cylinder, but you can also choose a 3.2-liter V6 and a 2.0-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder engine. The 2020 Cherokee also delivers the best-in-class fuel economy with 29 miles per gallon highway and stop-start technology for the 3.2-liter Pentastar V6 engine. The 2.0-liter turbocharged engine increases your fuel economy for up to 31 miles per gallon highway. The standard transmission and rear-axle disconnect further reduce energy costs. The turbocharged engine also comes with a greenhouse gas reduction enabler with 270 horsepower and 295 lb.-ft of torque. The Cherokee can tow as much as 4,500 pounds and up to 56:1 crawl ratio. The Trailhawk also offers an Active Drive Lock all-wheel-drive system for the perfect off-roading experience. Even standard models with Active Drive II provide an unmatched off-road capability.
