Sport
The Jeep Compass Sport comes with the standard engine that’s utilized by every trim level in the 2022 lineup. This engine is the 2.4-liter Tigershark I-4, which provides the Compass with 177 horsepower and 172 l-ft of torque. The Sport comes with standard front-wheel drive, as well as a 6-speed automatic transmission. 4-wheel drive is an available option, and comes with a 9-speed automatic transmission. The Sport also features LED headlights, 16-inch aluminum wheels, heated exterior mirrors, and a remote keyless entry system. The 2022 Compass features a new safety package that now includes adaptive cruise control, forward-collision warning, active lane management, and more.

Latitude
The Latitude trim has some additional features that build off of the Sport. One of the things they both have in common, however, is the new Uconnect 5 infotainment system, complete with an 8.4 inch touchscreen! The new system also has standard Apple CarPlay and Android Auto smartphone integration, to keep you connected without the excess cords. The Latitude also includes features like LED fog lights, power exterior mirrors, 17-inch wheels, and black roof rails. Inside, it features a steering wheel wrapped in a premium material for a sleeker look, as well as a leather-wrapped shift knob, and ambient overhead lighting.

Latitude LUX
The Latitude LUX is new for the 2022 model year, and this trim level is the perfect choice for someone seeking some added luxury! For example, the Latitude LUX is the first trim level in the lineup to feature leather-trimmed seats, and it also comes with a larger 10.1-inch infotainment touchscreen. Joining the Uconnect 5 screen is a second digital display situated behind the steering wheel, which will show you information like your current speed and gear. The Latitude LUX also includes heated seats, a heated steering wheel, a remote start system, and a windshield wiper de-icer.

Trailhawk
The Trailhawk trim has the greatest capability of the whole lineup, and it’s the perfect choice if you’re looking for a more athletic version of the Compass. The Trailhawk comes with standard 4-wheel drive, utilizing the Jeep Active Drive Low 4X4 system. This system allows for optimal low-range gearing, as well as a 20:1 crawl ratio. The Trailhawk features some extra equipment to help take you off-road, such as a 1-inch factory lift, all-weather tires, front tow hooks, and underbody skid plates. It also has a red-and-black hood decal which reduces glare while giving the Trailhawk a bold appearance. In terms of capability, the Trailhawk can ford up to 19 inches of water, and tow up to 2,000 pounds.

Limited
The Limited trim is the final trim level in the 2022 Jeep Compass lineup. This model has the most luxurious theme of the bunch, with features such as 18-inch diamond-cut wheels, heated leather-trimmed seats, and an eight-way power-adjustable driver’s seat. The Limited also has an available 10.25-inch thin-film transistor display, as well as an available wireless charging pad which will help you keep your car’s interior looking clean and organized. Plus, the Limited is introducing some new colorways for 2022, such as a Slate Grey leather interior, which is accented with contrasting Burnished Copper stitching.
